guides in the area matched us perfectly, with little or no down
time. She filled the schedule while we were on land.

There was only one time that was slightly off, the depot for the bus
to the train in Whitehorse didn't open until 8am. But that gave me a
few minutes to walk around that area by downtown and the Yukon
river. Thanks for setting up such a great trip!
Our agent worked very hard to meet our needs and was very prompt in
getting us all information. She was very knowledgable about the
tour. We took this tour last year but I am responding because I am
still enjoying the memories from our trip.
We loved the Glacier Bay suggestion and boat tour where we saw
grizzlies, whales, sea otters, mountain goats, etc. The Ferry was
great and being able to walk around and have a cup of coffee and
chat with the great panoramic views from the boat were great. We saw
a bald eagle even before we left port.
We felt we got a "real" Alaska experience, which would not be the
case if we had gone the cruise ship route. I actually recommended
the Ferry tour specialists to a friend who traveled to Alaska
summer/2012, and she reported that arrangements were wonderful.
One of the best tours we have ever been on. The time of year was
very suitable for travel and for experiencing a wide range of fauna
and flora. We made new friends and were highly impressed with the
variety of scenery
I loved the really nice mix of people travelling on the ferries,
tourists & some locals as well,easy to find some one to talk to &
exchange stories with. Several of us doing trips with ferry
adventures,all got to know each other,at least by sight & we all
learnt the' ferry way '.of doing things as we went along. In small
places like Glacier bay lodge,it seemed like we knew half of the
people staying there, as they were ferry adventure people too
Your service is very competively priced (compared with a cruise- no
brainer really) Our cabins were comfortable and clean, meal prices
onboard reasonable. First time to Alaska and we enjoyed every
minute. We will be back again sometime!! The backpackers camped on
the aft deck added to the experience. A different younger clientele
were grea
Everything was extremely well planned, with excellent advise &
efficient ticketing. I enjoyed the whole experience & certainly hope
to return to see more of Alaska in the near future.
A brilliant holiday. Didn't have 1 problem with anything for the
entire trip. If we were to change anything we probably wouldn't have
spent the last 2 nights on the ferry but instead would have spent
some time and flown out of Ketchikan.
Everyone loved our pictures and stories. I've already recommended
your services to many of my friends. I'm sure you'll be hearing from
them. The ability to create our own itinerary and avoid the canned
tours was an outstanding feature. We didn't have to worry about
getting trapped with a irritating individual or annoying group... every few days we were off on our own in another direction.
The Alaska State Ferry system is a wonderful way to go. We traveled
on six different vessels in two weeks and I've never encountered
such a consistently pleasant and helpful group of state employees in
my 45 years of extensive traveling.
Absolutely loved the trip to Tracy Arm Fjord...the highlight of my
trip. Also ha a great cruise on Glacier Bay...flight back to juneau
great. Columbia a great ferry to travel on. Disappointed there was
no National Parks person on board.. but a crew member gave as much
time as he could to fill us in and answer questions.
All accommodations were excellent. My wife enjoyed taking hundreds
of pictures and still enjoys them at home. We really liked the White
Pass Railroad summit trip. We have already sent information on your
company to several friends. We are also seriously considering
another one of your trips in the near future.
